Who needs a fishing license?
Please review the regulations at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC) Website.
Non-residents – You can purchase a 3 day, 7 day, or annual license.
Florida residents – When applying for a saltwater recreational fishing license, you are considered to be a Florida resident if you are:
- Any person who has resided in Florida for six continuous months prior to applying for a resident license and who claims Florida as their primary residence.
- Any member of the U.S. Armed Forces who is stationed in this state
Residents who are fishing for a saltwater species (other than mullet in fresh water) from land or from a structure fixed to the land are required to have a no-cost saltwater shoreline fishing license unless they have a regular saltwater fishing license or are exempt.
The guides listed in this directory below have provided important support to the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Florida and the conservation of Florida’s marine resources during the past year. We encourage our guests to use their services when planning a guided fishing trip.
